To join Gwinnett County ARES, please fill out a Gwinnett ARES Membership Form and place in the mail or bring it to a meeting or you may fill out an Online Application Form. After submitting the Online Application Form, Gwinnett ARES people may complete the Gwinnett ARES Basic Skills Online Test.
If you wish to take the test for another county, follow the instructions on the page for the test.
Nets: Gwinnett County ARES meets on the AIR weekly with a training net each Monday night at 8:30 PM on the GARS [147.075+, PL 82.5] repeater. Everyone is welcome to join the net.
Meetings:
Gwinnett County ARES has a meeting once a month at the Gwinnett Emergency Operations Center, 800 Hi Hope Road in Lawrenceville.
The meeting starts at 7:30 PM local time with a talk-in available on the GARS 2 meter repeater [147.075+ MHz – PL 82.5].
